You got it right. Games will be 2 10 minute halves with unlimited goals. If the game is tied after 2 halves, there will be a 10 minute overtime.

I actually had a question about this... is the game timer going to be set to 10 minutes, or are we going to rely on the players to know that "hey, stop after 10 minutes have elapsed"? If so, I can see that causing some problems... I lost a game last night in the last 5 seconds. If I had been forced to watch the clock, I wouldn't have been sure if he had actually capped the flag in those last seconds or not. I definitely would have argued about it at the very least.

LuckySpammer will give us the option for 10 minute games. In a full private game there is a coded in 1 minute grace period for players to switch teams, then the clock will start off at 10 minutes. Each half will be a separate game of TagPro.

So how does this grace period work? Are we supposed to stay within our bases before someone says "go," or does the game pause, or what?

You cannot move during the grace period and the clock will be stuck at 10:00 I believe. This is not league mandated but rather programmed into private rooms.
