Tarlek's Tomb - Too big?

I would love to play Tarlek's Tomb in a 4x4 game just once. I wonder if the flags should be in the tr and bl corners but I don't want to make it feel any more like arena. Maybe I could do away with the outer ring entirely.

i'd definitely be down to give it a try
but if you want a critique from someone - yes, it does look too big and i'm confused by a few of the features:
- the 4 gate tiles to the right of the top flag and the left of the bottom flag, are they on switches?
- on the edges you have the bomb-5 boost-bomb feature, i just don't get the boosts, it might be fun to 'go fast' but practically it looks pointless
- i think the 4 corners of the map will be 'dead' corners and no balls will ever be there
I'd probably remove the 'outer' ring entirely.
other than that, it could be a fun play

Thanks for the input! All great points that I've tried to rectify. the only thing I left the same were the side boosts. The bank of pads is to allow a ball to ricochet off the wall when boosting diagonally from top right or bottom left. I'll send it in for week 10 but I don't think tt will have a chance against swipe.

I think this is one of the better maps submitted for Week 10.
Definitely take out the outer ring you just added, it was pretty good the way before. I liked the team tile layout you had before, as well.
A problem with this map is the short route between the two flags. there's not much space to run around, either (the spikes limit the corridors too much.) I think you should make the routes longer by making it harder to manuever or wider, and you should make spike route more forgiving.
